In April, 3 rd 2023 Governor Ron DeSantis
signed House Bill (HB) 543, strengthening
Floridians’ Second Amendment rights by
allowing Floridians to carry concealed
weapons without a government-issued permit.
HB 543 goes into effect on July 1, 2023.
To be eligible to carry a concealed
weapon after July 1st with no permit:
- You must be 21 years of age or older.
- You must be able to demonstrate competency with a firearm.
- Unless you serve overseas in the United States Armed Forces, you must currently reside there and be a U.S. citizen or deemed a lawful permanent resident alien by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service. If you are serving overseas in the U.S. Armed Forces, submit a copy of your deployment documentation with your application. Those who are Resident Aliens must provide a valid Permanent Resident Alien card.
Possible Reasons for Ineligibility
- The physical inability to handle a firearm safely.
- A felony conviction (unless the convicting authority has restored civil and firearm rights).
- Having adjudication withheld or sentence suspended on a felony or misdemeanor crime of violence unless three years have elapsed since probation or other conditions set by the court have been fulfilled.
- A conviction for a misdemeanor crime of violence in the last three years.
- A conviction for violating controlled substance laws or multiple arrests for such offenses.
- A record of drug or alcohol abuse.
- Two or more DUI convictions within the previous three years.
- Being committed to a mental institution or adjudged incompetent or mentally defective.
- Having been issued a domestic violence injunction or an injunction against repeat violence that is currently in force.
- Renouncement of U.S. citizenship.
- A dishonorable discharge from the armed forces.
- Being a fugitive from justice.

by doing, practicing, creating muscle memory,
and working through the fundamentals.
The focus of this course is the effective use of a concealed handgun for self-defense on the street. Chapters on concealment techniques and devices are included, presenting the handgun from concealment, utilizing cover and concealment outdoors.
This innovative course includes presentation and movement, point shooting,
instinctive shooting, low-light shooting, engaging multiple targets, and one-hand shooting.
The skills and others presented in this course form
the core shooting skills used to counter a
life-threatening attack outside the home.
The course will consist of three hours of
instruction in the classroom.
A multiple-choice exam will be given at the
end of the class, Then an hour at the range
for qualification, and receive a course completion
certificate, from a Certified Instructor.

- 8: RECOGNIZE AND CLEAR PISTOL MALFUNCTIONS
- 9: PREPARE FOR THE AFTERMATH
- 10: MINDSET AND THE FLORIDA LAWS
The Permitless Carry Course:
It's intended for all individuals, regardless
of previous shooting experience.
This instructor-led only course gives you
direct instruction from a Certified Instructor
from beginning to end and may be conducted
in a classroom and on a shooting range with an Instructor.
Preferred:
Appropriate clothing for the weather,
No Open Shoes, tank tops, or V-necks, Please.
We shoot in the rain.
Minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition
Firearm Gun rentals are available
Have a great time.
Requirements:
21 Years of age or Older
A valid driver’s license or other Government-issued ID.
