Range Safety Officer Course (RSO)

Developed in response to the demand for a nationally recognized range safety officer certification. 

To become a NRA Range Safety Officer, you must pass the RSO course.

Demonstrate that you possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, 

conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. 

The course covers different firearm types, actions, parts, and their operation how to manage emergency procedures, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, ammunition types, 

storage options and proper care & maintenance and above all, 

safety on the range and roles and responsibilities are also covered.
